Joining a group with a focus on your professional area keeps your skills and knowledge right up-to-date. Our sub-groups network and learn with their direct peers at other member universities. They are open to CUBO members and their staff. Meeting space and catering are provided by CUBO, with attendees paying travel and accommodation only.
Launched in 2014, the CUBO Marketing Group has over 50 active members: marketing staff working at CUBO member institutions in commercial and campus services. The group meets twice a year for a day of networking and professional development. Recent topics include GDPR and promoting sustainability initiatives on campus.
The Finance Group is open to staff doing finance-related work in the student, commercial, sport and nursery sectors in CUBO member universities. They meet at least once a year to network and keep up-to-date with topical financial issues. Recent examples are managing the challenges of PCI DSS, and implementing a new accommodation system.SAVE THE DATE: The next CUBO Finance meeting will take place on 9th and 10th May at Queen's University Belfast.
