CUBO Awards 2019
in association with University Business
It's time once again to celebrate the achievements of those working in campus and commercial services in higher education. Entry for the 2019 CUBO Awards has now closed and the winners will be revealed at the CUBO Summer Conference in July!
The CUBO Awards showcase the full range of services dedicated to delivering an excellent student experience: from catering and housing to retail and sport. We celebrate not just teams and individuals, but also partnerships, theme of the 2019 CUBO Summer Conference, where our 2019 winners will be revealed on Awards Night in Swansea University's Great Hall.
If you're new to the CUBO Awards and would like to take a peek at last year’s entries, some of the shortlisted submissions from 2018 are available as case studies on this website.
Who can enter
The Awards are open to all higher education institutions in the UK and Ireland. Membership of CUBO is not a prerequisite. Businesses working with higher education institutions are invited to enter the Business Partner of the Year award. Apart from Business Partner of the Year, entries to all other categories must come from CUBO areas of higher education institutions.
2019 Award Categories
*To fit with our conference theme of innovative partnerships, the shortlisted candidates for Business Partner of the Year will be invited to present on their awards entry at a workshop during the summer conference.
There is a two-step judging process. The CUBO Awards panel meet in March to create a shortlist of candidates for the first stage. A panel of independent experts then review the shortlisted entries and vote for the winner in all categories, apart from the Innovation in Student Experience Award. This category is voted for by CUBO members.
The CUBO Awards 2019 take place at Swansea University Bay Campus as part of the CUBO annual summer conference from 3-5 July.
The CUBO Awards and gala dinner is a black-tie event.
