CUBO takes partnership to a new level
17/05/2016

CUBO members are responsible for more than a billion pounds of revenue within HE and their services are critical to the operation of UK universities. With the ever-growing focus on financial sustainability of services and customer service excellence, we all recognise the critical importance of having the right partners involved in working with HEIs to deliver on campuses.

For some time CUBO has wished to be more explicit about the important relationships it has built with key suppliers. We are keen to celebrate this relationship and ensure that the partnering we do on an everyday basis is recognised for the mutual benefit of the companies and the association.

It was with this in mind that in 2015 the CUBO Executive agreed to establish a new Corporate Partners programme which aims to formalise the relationships with key suppliers and provide them, and CUBO and its members, with a platform to deepen their relationship.

Following a great deal of interest in our initial scoping exercise, the partnership programme was launched in January 2016 with seven partners approved by the Executive. These partners’ applications were supported by glowing references from CUBO members reflecting long-term working relationships.

Regular readers of University Business will notice something familiar about the names in this list. We believe they represent a group of companies that have a long-standing commitment to the sector and are often quoted in this magazine as seeking to be innovative in the delivery and development of the campus experience in UK HEIs.

We are delighted that they have joined us as formal partners and our members are looking forward to working with them this year to continue that innovation for the benefit of all our customers.

There are two levels of partnership: Gold and Silver; CUBO is delighted to partner with the following in each category:
